- Main Technical Skills:Practical experience in software development (preferably in Java, Python, or equivalent languages).
- Strong expertise in Unix/Linux, including Perl/shell scripting and system administration.Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Gitlab, SVN, etc.).
- Practical experience with the Autosys batch scheduling system (e.g., creating and maintaining jobs, troubleshooting failures).
- Experience with migrating batch processing systems or similar projects.Strong skills in troubleshooting build failures, testing issues, and deployment errors.Testing & Deployment Skills:Ability to conduct parallel UAT and production tests, compare results, and identify discrepancies.
- Experience in configuring environments and deploying software in lower environments.Familiarity with test automation frameworks and debugging methodologies.
- Migration & Change Management:
- Experience in creating detailed migration plans and executing them successfully.
- Ability to conduct pre-mortem calls, identify potential migration risks, and mitigate issues. Understanding of IT change management processes and best practices.
